'No-drone-zone' posters displayed in four languages to warn tourists at Taj Mahal

Posters announcing that the historic Taj Mahal complex is a 'no-drone zone' were displayed in four languages by the police on Monday, SP Botre Rohan Pramod said

Posters anuncing that historic Taj Mahal complex is a '-drone zone', were displayed in four langus by police on Monday, SP Agra, Botre Rohan Pramod said.

"We h received complaints that tourists use drones to capture top view of Taj Mahal disregarding directives of Supreme Court. As it is prohibited, we have put up flexes in four langus," Pramod told reporter on Monday.

posters have been displayed in English, Hindi, Russian, and Chinese so that many tourists, both Indian and international, can become aware of restrictions. After police arrested five Russian tourists for flying a drone near Mehtab Bagh in vicinity of Taj Mahal,  officials h planned said to display posters around Taj Mahal to warn tourists.

Police arrest 5 Russians for flying drone

Agra police h taken five Russian tourists under ir custody for flying a drone near Mehtab Bagh in vicinity of Taj Mahal on vember 16.  tourists informed police that y h kwledge about fact that area is prohibited. Banners in various langus have been designed after incident to make people aware that area around Taj is a -fly zone. 

Speaking about drone-flying incidents near Taj Mahal, SP City, BR Pras h said, "We got information about some foreign tourists flying drones in area. Upon questioning y said y h idea of it being a prohibited area. y are being interrogated to ascertain ir intent”.

“We have today designed some banners in 5 to 6 langus which will be put up soon in Mehtab Bagh, Shilp Gram and east and west gates among ors proclaiming it to be a prohibited area for flying drones," Pras said. Furr investigation in matter is underway.
