Noida Hit-and-Run: SUV Crushes Inspector During Chase, Condition Critical

Noida: A traffic inspector in NCR's Noida region was attempted to be crushed down by an SUV in the wee hours of Saturday, in a shocking incident of hit-and-run.

As per reports, the inspector named was posted at Noida's Rajnigandha Intersection, when he received information about a suspicious vehicle.  

When the inspector attempted to stop the SUV, the driver fled at an extremely high speed.

In this distressing incident, traffic inspector Jai Prakash Singh sustained serious injuries and was admitted to a local hospital.

According to Reports, Singh pursued the car by getting a lift from the Activa scooter. During the chase, the XUV 500 collided with the scooter, critically injuring both the inspector and the scooter rider as it continued to escape.

The driver then left the car and ran away from the spot. A case was registered on the complaint of traffic inspector Jai Prakash Singh and the vehicle was seized.
