Caught on Cam: 17-Year-Old Loses Control of Speeding SUV, Kills Woman In Greater Noida

Noida: In a horrifying accident, a 17-year-old was taken into custody on Friday after allegedly ramming an SUV into a pedestrian in Greater Noida, killing her on the spot.

The incident reportedly happened on Wednesday morning when the woman was walking on the roadside. According to police, the fatal accident occurred near CRC society in Bisrakh. The tragic accident has been captured on a nearby CCTV camera.

The SUV, speeding through, appeared on the footage while overtaking a tractor, but the driver quickly lost control. The vehicle veered sharply, crashing into the woman at high speed, dragging her along before slamming into a pole.

The victim, Shilpi, 27, a resident of Jatpura in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, was on her way to a construction site for work when she was fatally struck.

The driver fled immediately after the crash. Police, however, seized the vehicle and quickly began searching for the suspect. The teenager was later taken into custody two days after the incident.
