Noida Police Issues Traffic Advisory Ahead of Dusshera Festivities, Check Routes to Avoid
Commuters are advised to plan their routes in advance to avoid disruption during the two-day celebrations.

Noida Traffic Advisory: To manage the increased traffic during Dussehra celebrations, Noida Traffic Police have implemented a series of diversions around Noida Stadium in Sector 21A, effective from 2 PM on Friday until the festivities conclude on Saturday. These restrictions have been introduced to ensure the smooth flow of vehicles during the Ramlila performances, Ravan Dahan, and idol immersion ceremonies.
Key Road Closures for Event Management
Noida Police has informed that vehicles from sectors 12, 22, and 56 heading towards Stadium Chowk will face restrictions. Similarly, vehicles travelling from sectors 10 and 21 towards these areas will be diverted. The Stadium Chowk to Modi Mall route through sectors 8, 10, 11, and 12 will also be closed.

To accommodate the diversions, traffic will be rerouted from the Sector 10-21 U-turn via Jalvayu Vihar Chowk and Nithari to reach Sector 31-25 Chowk, NTPC, and Gijhod. Vehicles from the Sector 12-22-56 intersection will follow a route through Sector 57 to Gijhod Chowk, ensuring that traffic is managed efficiently, according to reports.
Saturday Idol Immersion Restrictions
Additional diversions will be in place on Saturday for idol immersions in the Yamuna and Hindon rivers. These will take place from 9 AM to 8 PM at several ghats, including Kalindi Kunj and Kulesra Ghat.
Changes on Expressway Routes
For those travelling from the Noida Expressway towards Delhi via Kalindi Border, traffic will be diverted from Charkha roundabout to Dalit Prerna Sthal, with alternative routes available via the DND Flyway and Chilla Road. Commuters heading from Sector 37 to Kalindi Border will need to use Mahamaya Flyover, as confirmed by DCP Prasad.
