Lalit Modi took to Twitter on Friday and said that "Rahul Gandhi says 'All MODI's are CHOR's'. Well he will be taken to court in UK by me." Later, he called out Gandhi family over "five deces of daylight looting of India."

In ar tweet, he asked social media users to decide who is 'chor' and who is 'chowkidar', ding a video which shows how various scams Gandhi family was involved into.

Earlier, senior BJP leer and Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Sushil Kumar Modi filed a defamation case against Rahul Gandhi for his "all thieves have Modi surname" statement. case has been filed in Patna court, under section 500 of IPC, and is likely to be taken up on April 22.
Earlier, a defamation suit was filed against Congress president Rahul Gandhi in a court in Bhopal on Monday over same remark.

“I have faced a lot of insult because of his remark. A lot of people asked if all Modis are thieves and hence I filed suit,” said Preep Modi, petitioner.
Congress president on 13 April, while taking a jibe at Prime Minister Modi, h reportedly said: “I have a question. Why do all thieves have Modi in ir names — wher it is Nirav Modi, Lalit Modi or Narendra Modi? We don’t kw how many more such Modis will come out.”
