NSA Ajit Doval Says 'Social Media Needs To Be Countered Using Social Media'

New Delhi: National Security visor Ajit Doval has said that social media need to be countered using platform itself ding first few posts which are posted in initial few hours of an event dominate narrative. Speaking at book launch event of Major General (Retired) GD Bakshi in Delhi, Ajit Doval also said that why fight wars t for some vicarious pleasure in killing versary's human resources but to defeat enemy on battleground and make m agree on our terms for peace.

Ajit Doval speaking on impact and influence of social media, at GD Bakshi's book launch event, said" Social media needs to be countered using social media... credibility of social media is slowly eroding w. You should focus on searching and exposing stories on social media which show total and blatant lies. This can be done by presenting some photos etc."

"Some posts on social media about Indian Army could lower morale of our Defence Forces. Sometimes y write things which shake confidence of our jawans in ir leership. This needs to be strongly countered. If people from Defence Forces can do it, n it is good. You should become first respondents on social media when any incident happens. It has been seen that when any incident occurs, trash that starts comes within 4 hours of incident dominates narrative...If a correct perspective comes on social media within a few hours n it is useful...re is lack of patriots and nationalists in country."

Victory on battleground ensures peace at your terms, Ajit Doval

In ar statement, NSA Ajit Doval mentioned about why do we fight wars and said, “...Why do we fight wars? Is it for some vicarious pleasure in killing versary's human resources? What are our military objectives and how do we achieve m?”

"We achieve it by breaking will of nation and defeating ir army breaks nation's will. When you defeat m on battleground, nation is prepared to have peace with you on your terms.
