Nuh violence: Police identify 3 boys, to be presented in court
The incident took place near a mosque around 8.20pm on Thursday when a group of women were on their way for a 'kuan (well) poojan'.

Haryana: Nuh Police on Friday registered an FIR against the three boys who allegedly pelted stones on a group of women, leaving three injured, said officials.
With the help of the CCTV footage, the three minor boys have been identified and are being interrogated, the police added.

Nuh Superintendent of Police (SP) Narendra Bijarniya said, "On the complaint of women, an FIR has been registered... From the madarsa, footage had come where we could see three boys standing. On that basis, three boys have been identified. All three of them have been rounded up, and now they will be presented in court... Eight women have registered the FIR, and they have minor injuries... We are interrogating all three boys to understand why this incident happened. All three children are minors. We will investigate all the allegations made by the women. The situation is in control, and leaders from both communities were called in the morning."

What happened in Nuh
The incident took place near a mosque around 8.20pm on Thursday when a group of women were on their way for a 'kuan (well) poojan'. The stones were allegedly hurled at them by some children when they reached the madrasa. In no time, people from two different communities gathered at the spot, leading to tension in the area.

Nuh Superintendent of Police Narender Bijarniya reached the spot along with a heavy police force and dispersed the gathering. The police have also registered an FIR and have called the mawlawi of the madrasa for questioning.
“Some females were going for 'Kuan Poojan' and there has been a complaint that stones were pelted by some children from the madrasa. People from both communities gathered here in this regard. FIR is being registered... We appeal to the people to maintain peace. Relevant action will be taken. There has been no big injury,” Nuh Superintendent of Police Narender Bijarniya told reporters.
