Odisha: 10 senior IAS officers will be in charge of 10 districts
The Odisha government has appointed 10 senior IAS officers as Secretary-in-charge of 10 aspirational districts of the state to oversee the development works.

The Odisha government has appointed 10 senior IAS officers as Secretary-in-charge of 10 aspirational districts of the state to oversee the development works, an official said on Saturday.
The senior IAS officers would monitor the 49 indicators across five sectors - Health and Nutrition, Education, Agriculture and Water Resources, Financial inclusion and Skill up gradation and basic infrastructure like irrigation, rural electrification, potable drinking water and access to toilets - in these districts, the official said.
While Agriculture Production Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary P K Mohapatra will be in charge of Dhenkanal district, Labour and WCD secretary Anu Garg will look after Rayagada district.
Agriculture and Farmer Empowerment secretary Sourabh Garg is in charge of Koraput district while Panchayatiraj secretary DRK Singh will be the secretary in-charge of Kalahandi, Home secretary Sanjeeb Chopra will be in charge of Kandhamal district and Industries secretary Hemanta Sharma in Nabrangpur district.
Higher Education secretary Saswat Mishra will be in charge of Nuapada district, Skill Development and Technical Education secretary SK Singh has been given charge of Gajapati district, Health and Family Welfare secretary PK Meherda will be in charge of Bolangir district.
Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare secretary VV Yadav has been put in charge of Malkangiri district, according to a notification issued by the Planning and Convergence department.
