Odisha state unit of BJP is all set to start it's one-month long 'Janjagaran' campaign with an aim to clear all misconceptions about Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). Slamming opposition, BJP leer Golak Mohapatra stated that y are starting campaign to clear misconceptions created by "Congress and left parties."
Speaking about campaign, he said, "During this one-month period, we will organise press conferences and intellectual meets in all districts. BJP party workers and leers will also go to people and raise awareness amongst m about CAA and difference between Act and National Register of Citizens (NRC)."

He furr ded that ruling party is planning to cover all districts in state.
BJP's CAA awareness rallies
Amid protests and links between CAA and National Population Register (NPR), BJP has planned to undertake an outreach program to rubbish fake news and myths surrounding same. This was decided after BJP's top brass met in a high-level meeting chaired by working president JP Nda.

As per sources, BJP's top leership including Home Minister and party president Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will take part in awareness campaigns from January 1 to January 15 next month.
party's first rally to spre awareness about CAA was carried out on Friday, December 27 in Mumbai of which Devendra Fnavis and or leers were a part of it.

Protests against CAA
Several violent protests have been erupting across Assam, West Bengal, Delhi and Uttar Presh against newly amended Citizenship Act, following violence at Jamia Millia Islamia University in Delhi where over 50 students were detained by police during protests.

anti-CAA movement has spre to more places like Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderab, Ahmedab, Pondicherry, Patna and so on.

Citizenship Act was passed in Lok Sabha on December 9 and n by Rajya Sabha on December 11. Act seeks to grant Indian citizenship to n-Muslim refugees from Pakistan, Banglesh, and Afghanistan.
