An incident has emerged from Naupa district of Odisha where a woman was seen taking her 120-year-old mor to bank to withdraw latter's pension. incident took place on Wednesday after bank allegedly demanded physical verification of account holder. centenarian identified as Labhe Baghel was dragged by her 70-year-old daughter on a cot all way to bank.

'I strongly condemn this inhuman act'

"I strongly condemn this inhuman act. I request government to immediately investigate matter," Raju Dholkia, MLA Nuapa district as quoted by ANI as saying.

As soon as Gunja Dei along with her mor reached bank, official, seeing condition of both women released pension money. To enquire into matter, Regional Manr of Utkal Gramya Bank on Sunday reached Bargaon with local MLA Panigrahi  "Bank officials h been boring old ly for last three months. official flouted all laws and this act is against basic human rights. People should get ir rights. I condemn this act and people responsible behind this should be removed from ir post. se acts can be seen across various districts in Odisha," said Panigrahi.
