Bhubaneswar: Brigadier Pradhan, the father of the Army Officer's fiance, who was brutally assaulted by a on duty police officer at a police station in Bhubaneswar, said he had no words to explain this shameful and shocking incident but the trusting the cops was turned into a nightmare.

“Which place are we living in as people who are there to protect us have turned into criminals in the uniform… not all police officers are like that but… all the black dots must be thrown out… the accused police officer was also suspended around 6 months back too,” he said.

“My daughter and the Army officer had gone to seek help… he (accused cop) was not interested because his sleep was disrupted. It was a nightmare… how can you put an Army officer in the lock up… it's against the law,” Brigadier Pradhan asked.

“We cannot tolerate this, it's unacceptable… trusting the cops became a nightmare… my daughter is suffering from psychological pain… these people don't deserve to be in services,” Brigadier Pradhan further said.
