Om Birla : 'I welcome this verdict by the Supreme Court'

Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla on Saturday said the people will respect the supreme court's verdict on Ayodhya and also said he welcomes the judgement

Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla on Saturday said people will respect supreme court's verdict on Ayodhya. leer said people have faith in Constitution and Judiciary. 

'In our democracy, Judiciary is supreme'

"Our people have full faith in Law, and we have always respected judicial system.  In our democracy, Judiciary is supreme. judgment was given after hearing all sides, right verdict has been given, I welcome this verdict by hourable Supreme Court," he said.

Union Minister Prahl Joshi too welcomed Supreme Court judgement saying it will furr strengn unity, integrity, and culture of our country.

"I welcome judgement of Supreme Court of India which will furr strengn unity, integrity and culture of our country. Appeal every one to maintain peace and harmony," he said in a tweet.

Devendra Fnavis on Ayodya verdict

Leers from across political spectrum have asserted to maintain peace and harmony in country. Maharashtra acting Chief Minister Devendra Fnavis said he welcomes decision and decision upholds people's belief in Judicial System. “I welcome verdict of Supreme Court. It will strengn country’s multilingual,inter-religious harmony. This verdict is going to solidify general public’s belief in justice system,” he said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also urged people to maintain brorhood and asked people to respect Supreme Court's decision in his dress to nation.

Supreme Court's verdict 

Supreme Court on Saturday delivered a unanimous judgment in title suit of disputed area awarding it to Hindu parties for construction of a temple. It also directed Centre to come up with a scheme within three months to set up a trust which will hand over outer courtyard and inner courtyard of site for construction of a temple. Court also stated that an alternate land of 5 acres is to be allotted to Muslims for liberty of constructing a mosque, eir by central government or State government.
