I Researched on Adoption Laws: Aditya Tiwari

"When I went home that night, I couldn’t stop thinking about how he was all alone there. So I went back & to see if they’d let me adopt him," said Tiwari. The Instagram post reflects Tiwari's care for Avinash who had Down Syndrome and shows how he wasn't ready to give up his dream to adopt the kid. Tiwari describes how the orphanage claimed that a bachelor younger than 30 years of age wouldn't be able to adopt a kid. But Tiwari claims that he researched on adoption laws and was adamant about his aim.

Exposing the Malpractices

Aditya Tiwari reached out to the Child Welfare Council and couldn't find any records of Avinash. He also realised that there were undocumented children being kept in the orphanage. His quick-wittedness made him contact the police who didn't help him out and asked him to stay out of this matter. Hence, he approached the Welfare Minister which led to the orphanage getting banned and their malpractices coming to light. He finally could adopt Avinash and gain his custody legally. "He’s the best thing that’s happened to me, he’s my world, he’s my son," he said in the post.
