AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi slammed the Central Government on Tuesday over the visit of 28 European Members of Parliament (MEPs) to Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday and called the EU delegation as 'Nazi lovers'. The AIMIM leader also said that the delegation that suffers from 'Islamophobia' will be visiting a Muslim-majority state. The EU delegation visiting Kashmir has already reached Srinagar and is scheduled to interact with administrative officials and locals as well to present an on-ground report of the situation in Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370 earlier on August 5. The two-day visit will be the first-ever international delegation to visit the state since the revocation of special status.

Opposition questions Centre over EU visit to Kashmir
Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi hit out at the Centre in a Twitter post saying, "Indian leaders were sent back from the airport whereas European MPs are welcome to travel to Kashmir and intervene. It is a very unique kind of nationalism." Former chief minister of the state Mehbooba Mufti, whose Twitter account is handled by her daughter, also slammed the Centre asking why the US Senator was not allowed to visit the State of J&K. Mufti also took a dig at the government by accusing them of getting involved in the “normalcy acrobatics” in the State.
