Owaisi slams FIR filed by Delhi Police against "girl who had 18-19 stitches on her head'
Owaisi deplored the registration of an FIR by Delhi police against "the girl who was injured in the violence", referring to the JNUSU president Aishe Ghosh.

AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday deplored registration of an FIR by Delhi police against " girl who was injured in violence", referring to JNUSU president Aishe Ghosh, inside JNU campus, instead of booking those who made an attempt to 'kill' her. comment by Hyderabad MP was pertaining to barbaric violence unleashed on students and teachers on Sunday evening by masked goons, and Delhi Police filing two FIRs in connection with vandalism at server room at university on Saturday. Moreover, Owaisi questioned inaction of both Delhi Police and Vice-Chancellor of prestigious university.
"y made an attempt to kill that union president. First thing is that inquiry should look into how did police allow m. Secondly, what did vice-chancellor do. Thirdly, even police allowed safe pass for goonda elements," he told reporters here. Delhi police said FIRs were registered in connection with vandalism at server room at JNU on a complaint from university administration on January 5.

Without naming Aishe Ghosh, Owaisi called FIR against "girl who had 18-19 stitches on her head" as 'unfortunate'. "Instead of booking a trespass case, attempt to murder case on all se people, what we are seeing is complete reverse is happening. This is injustice, I condemn this behavior. It is completely wrong," Member of Parliament said.
FIR filed against Aishe Ghosh
On Tuesday, it was kwn that Delhi Police had filed an FIR against JNU Student Union president, and eight ors for allegedly vandalising server room of university on January 4, a day before violence that was unleashed inside campus. JNUSU president was discharged from hospital, along with 34 ors on Monday morning, after being attacked by masked mob, however, arrests have been made in that regard yet.

FIR was registered on January 5 by JNU administration against 21 students Left-leaning students, including JNUSU president over alleged vandalism. Delhi Police had taken up three complaints from different quarters that it had received, and y were mulling wher to include all of those complaints into one FIR. 21 students named in FIR are also accused of vandalising, blocking server room, attacking security guards and creating a ruckus in registration process. FIR pertains a day before clashes that erupted inside campus. JNUSU has held several protests since October 28 last year against steep fee hike by JNU administration.
In her first statement, Aishe Ghosh asserted that mayhem was perpetrated by goons of RSS and ABVP. JNUSU president furr stated that 'organised' attack on students was being promoted on campus for past few days. JNUSU president was discharged from AIIMS on Monday morning.
