Meanwhile, a senior army officer told Republic Media Network that troops along LoC continue to maintain high-degree alert to ensure that Pakistan Army doesn’t succeed in its nefarious designs.
“Pakistan Army is resorting to heavy mortar shelling and firing along LoC in Kura and Uri from last couple of weeks in an attempt to divert attention of Indian army,” he said.
However, officer said, Indian Army has retaliated to all ceasefire violations effectively and didn’t allow Pakistani designs to succeed to push infiltrators into Jammu and Kashmir. “se inputs are very precise and credible and we are putting our strategy in place to counter any nefarious design of enemy,” he ded.

In Kura, which falls along line of control, three civilians were killed in an exchange of fire between armies of two countries recently.
