Ceasefire violations and Infiltrations in Kashmir

Apart from this, Singh stated that these ceasefire violations from Pakistan are carried out so that terrorists can infiltrate into the valley.

'Foiled many attempts by intruders'
Singh also mentioned that even as Pakistan tries to engage in cross-border terrorism by undertaking repeated infiltrations, the attempts are thwarted by the armed personnel. Dilbag Singh said that the anti-infiltration grid has kept a strict vigil. The security measures taken have successfully foiled many such infiltration efforts, added Singh. However, the hostile situation still looms as Singh said that a significant number of terrorists are currently active along the border.
