In a big development, Pakistan in its 115-p dossier against India's abrogation of Article 370 and its alleged atrocity in Jammu and Kashmir has quoted Congress' Rahul Gandhi and National Conference leer Omar Abdullah in its cover p. Ahe of session at  UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland where Pakistan will be presenting 115-p dossier, its contents allege sensational charges against India and include statements of likes of Shehla Rashid, Arundhati Roy, Kavita Krishnan who have spoken against India's decision to abrogate Article 370 that provided special status to Jammu and Kashmir.

Even before Pakistani delegation led by Shah Mehmood Qureshi speaks in UN, dossier has been leaked and quotes Rahul Gandhi's statement after his 'Kashmir visit'. "It's been 20 days since people of J&K h ir freedon and civil liberties curtailed. After abrogation of Article 370 by Indian government, Pakistan has been alleging human rights violations and has been trying to raise issue at international platforms. It has also written letters to UN citing alleged atrocity and lockdown in Kashmir valley after end of special status enshrined under Article 370. India, however, has rebutted claims me by Pakistan and called letters 't worth p it is written on'. A high-level Indian delegation led by Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan Ajay Bisaria and Secretary East Vijay Thakur Singh will face-off Pakistani delegation on Tuesday.

Omar Abdullah put into detention

National Conference leer Omar Abdullah and PDP leer Mehbooba Mufti was put into detention by J&K ministration on evening of August 4. On August 5, India abrogated Article 370 that gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcated state. On August 13, MHA sources informed that Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah are safe and healthy and that y have been detained to prevent any provocation. Sources h also said that re is timeline set as to when will y be released. MHA sources informed that as long as govt will t be sure that situation is rmal in valley, leers will t be released. While Omar Abdullah has been reportedly kept in Hari Niwas Palace, Mehbooba Mufti is at Chashme Shahi in Srinagar.
