proposed corridor will connect Darbar Sahib in Kartarpur with Dera Baba Nanak shrine in Gurdaspur district of Punjab and facilitate visa-free movement of Indian pilgrims, who will have to just obtain a permit to visit Kartarpur Sahib, which was established in 1522 by Guru Nanak Dev. Pakistan is building corridor from Indian border to Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Kartarpur, while or part from Dera Baba Nanak in Punjab's Gurdaspur district up to border will be constructed by India.

Imran Khan makes Kartarpur anuncment on Facebook

"Pakistan is all set to open its doors for Sikhs from all across globe, as construction work on Kartarpur project enters final sts and will be open to public on vember 9, 2019," Khan said in a Facebook post, clearing air on wher corridor will be open on occasion of 550th birth anniversary of Sikh faith founder Guru Nanak Dev next on vember 12.

Manmohan Singh to visit Kartarpur Corridor

Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on October 3 h said Singh h agreed to join first all-party "jatha" (delegation) to Kartarpur Sahib gurdwara to join mega event after opening of Kartarpur Corridor.
