New Delhi: As India's medal tally at the ongoing Paris Olympics reaches three, JSW Group Chairman Sajjan Jindal on Thursday announced that every Indian medalist would be gifted with a MG Windsor car. 

Taking to X, the Indian billionaire industrialist wrote, "Delighted to announce that every Olympic medalist from Team India will be gifted an MG Windsor, a remarkable car from JSW MG India! Because our best deserve the best, for their dedication and success! 🏅"

His announcement followed Morris Garages India's unveiling of the new MG Windsor, a compact utility vehicle developed in collaboration with JSW Group. The UK-based company, established in 1924, noted that the design of the MG Windsor is inspired by the architecture of Windsor Castle.

“Introducing India's first #IntelligentCUV - the MG Windsor. Inspired by the iconic architectural masterpiece and emblem of royal heritage, Windsor Castle, this CUV exemplifies meticulous craftsmanship. This masterpiece is arriving soon! Stay tuned," the company wrote on its official X handle.

Since the announcement, Jindal's X post has received a flood of reactions in the comments, with many netizens praising his initiative. One user remarked, “Great initiative." Another user commented, “That's really a great thought by JSW MG India." A third user added, “Kudos, keep up the great work!" While a fourth user noted, “Wow. Great initiative to encourage sportsmen."

JSW Group is responsible for Team India's official Olympic kit this year. According to the company’s website, the kit reflects India’s diverse culture and landscape and is designed with advanced features to enhance athletic performance.

To date, India has won three bronze medals at the Paris 2024 Olympics: Swapnil Kusale in the men's 50m rifle 3 positions event, Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh in shooting, and Manu Bhaker in the women’s 10m air pistol event.
