A parliamentary panel heed by Congress leer Anand Sharma will examine functioning of ministration, development and people's welfare in Union territories of Jammu and Kashmir, and Lakh. parliamentary standing committee on Home Affairs will also look into rising crime in Delhi-NCR.

Panel to also examine issues of national register of citizens

According to a Lok Sabha bulletin, panel has also decided to examine issues of national register of citizens (NRC) in Assam, national security, intelligence coordination and counter-terrorism.
