Political parties of all hues in Bihar on Saturday welcomed Supreme Court verdict on Ayodhya case and asked people to maintain peace in wake of judgement. Parties like RJD and Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) expressed hope that judgment will put an end to politics being played by exploiting religious sentiments of people.

'I respect apex court's verdict from bottom of my heart'

"I respect apex court's verdict (on Ayodhya) from bottom of my heart. Every temple, mosque, Gurudwara, Church belong to all of us. thing and one is outsider. We all are one," Leer of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yav said in a tweet posted after court's order. "w political parties should pay attention to providing employment to youths besides building schools, colleges, universities and hospitals," he said while appealing people to accept verdict and maintain social harmony at any cost.

Earlier Saturday, five-judge constitution bench heed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi delivered a historic judgment on Ayodhya paving way for construction of a Ram Temple at disputed site at Ayodhya and directed Centre to allot a 5-acre plot to Sunni Waqf Board for building a mosque. Reacting to judgement on Ayodhya, former Union Minister and RLSP chief Upendra Kushwaha said he welcomes verdict on Ayodhya case pending for several years.

"w, it will put an end to politics played by exploiting religious sentiment of people and igring development work. government will w focus on providing education, medicine, employment, irrigation...I appeal to countrymen to maintain peace and amity," Kushwaha tweeted.

Bihar BJP president and MP Sanjay Jaiswal hailed unanimous judgment on Ayodhya and urged people to accept decision in its spontaneity and show ir commitment to 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat' by maintaining peace and harmony.

"I am quite confident that historic judgment delivered by apex court will turn out to be a milestone in its own way. judgment will furr strengn India's unity, integrity and its great culture," Jaiswal said in a statement. Former Bihar Chief Minister and Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) national president Jitan Ram Manjhi while welcoming verdict said judgment should neir be taken as victory or defeat by anyone.

"We accept Supreme Court's verdict which is final and will appeal to people that y should neir lament r be jubilant over verdict. This is neir victory or defeat for anyone," Manjhi said while reacting to apex court's judgment.

t accepting Constitution bench's judgment would mean that person is talking against spirit of nationalism and patriotism, Manjhi said ding if anyone wishes to oppose it, he/she must do so within ambit of Constitution. Bihar Presh Congress Committee president Man Mohan Jha welcomed decision and asked "people belonging to all religions, class and communities to accept unanimous judgment of apex court's constitution bench." re can t be better judgment than one which was delivered by apex court in a country which follows Ganga-Jamuni tritions, he said.
