Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) at Air Force Station in Bihta, Patna has been closed for students and staff alike, after a leopard was spotted on its premises on Thursday night. leopard was captured on school's CCTV camera and since area has a lot of cover for wildlife, it is difficult to locate and capture wild cat.

As a safety measure, school has been immediately shut until furr tice.

Leopard Sighting on Premises Prompts Closure of KV, Bihta

Forest Department, in coordination with Indian Air Force (IAF) officials, has deployed a team with extensive resources to locate leopard. However, despite extensive efforts, team has t yet succeeded in locating wild cat.

"We have been using nets and cs strategically placed around area to facilitate a safe capture. Forest Department is taking precautions to ensure leopard's capture with minimal risk to residents, staff, and animal itself," a Forest Department official said on Saturday.
