Patna Traffic Update: One-Way Announced On This Road
As per the Patna Traffic Police, to manage the excessive traffic at the City Center Mall in the Bihar capital, it has been announced that the road going towards the mall from the Bailey Road will be one-way from Sunday, on a permanent basis. The vehicles will not be able to go to the Bailey Road from the mall via Vidyapati Marg; they will have to use the New Police Line-Gandhi Maidan route.

- Vehicles coming out of the exit gate of the mall will be first diverted to the new police station - from there, they will turn towards Gandhi Maidan on Ashoka Rajpath from Police Line or from the Rajapur Bridge.
- The SDO turn to New Police Center turn on Buddha Marg will remain out of bounds for all types of commercial vehicles; these vehicles will be diverted to TN Banerjee Marg from SDO Turn and to Ashoka Rajpath from New Police Center turn.
- Diversions have also been announced for private vehicles to TN Banerjee Marg from SDO More and to Ashok Rajpath from New Police Center More.
- All kinds of vehicles will be banned from entering Buddha Marg from SDO residence (TN Banerjee Marg), you can go to Buddha Marg via Gandhi Maidan TN Banerjee Road-Sinha Library Road instead of using Ashok Rajpath.
- Vehicles will also not be allowed to go to Buddha Marg from Bank Road/Park Road; Buddha Marg via Gandhi Maidan-TN Banerjee Road-Sinha Library Road is the route they must use.
- For the convenience of the locals, the road right in front of the City Center mall will be widened.
- Another proposal being implemented on the suggestion of the Superintendent of Police and the order of the DM, from 5 pm to 8 pm, pressure of vehicles must be reduced on Chirayatand Bridge and also on Nala Road. As per this proposal, buses, rickshaws, autos, e-rickshaws and commercial cargo vehicles who are coming from Buddha Marg will be allowed to avoid Old Bypass-via Chirayatand Bridge-from GPO roundabout route and take Karbighiya-GPR Roundabout route to go towards Old Bypass.
