Lashing out at BJP, chief minister said that party does t keep its promises while referring to Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa's remark about putting on hold compensation to families of police firing victims in state.

"Do t fear anybody," Banerjee told students. Trinamool Congress chief, who is leing a protest march from Rajabazar to Mullick Bazar in central Kolkata, said that students who are speaking out against CAA are being threatened by BJP.

"We express our solidarity with students of Jamia Millia, IIT Kanpur and or universities who are protesting against CAA and NRC", she said.

She said that students are above 18 years of and citizens and voters of this country. "So if y st any protest, where is harm in it", she said.
