West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday warned BJP of t to "play with fire" and threatened saffron party of continuous movement till new citizenship law is revoked.

Speaking at a protest rally in city, Trinamool Congress supremo said BJP paints or parties in black and takes pride to portray itself in white.

Lashing out at BJP, chief minister said that party does t keep its promises while referring to Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa's remark about putting on hold compensation to families of police firing victims in state.

government would t give a single rupee to ir families if investigation proved involvement of two persons in violence during December 19 protests against Citizenship Amendment Act, Karnataka CM h told reporters on Wednesday.

Referring to students, WB chief minister asked m to carry on with ir protests. She also told m that she will always be by ir side.

"Do t fear anybody," Banerjee told students. Trinamool Congress chief, who is leing a protest march from Rajabazar to Mullick Bazar in central Kolkata, said that students who are speaking out against CAA are being threatened by BJP.

"We express our solidarity with students of Jamia Millia, IIT Kanpur and or universities who are protesting against CAA and NRC", she said.

She said that students are above 18 years of and citizens and voters of this country. "So if y st any protest, where is harm in it", she said.
