Plea against 'Ram Janmabhoomi' film's screening on YouTube withdrawn
The petition against streaming the Ram Janmabhoomi movie, written and produced by UP Shia Waqf Board chief Syed Rizvi in Bombay HC has been withdrawn.

A petition against streaming Ram Janmabhoomi movie, written and produced by Uttar Presh Shia Waqf Board chief Syed Waseem Rizvi, on YouTube by Azhar Basha Tamboli in Bombay High Court has been withdrawn. film was atrically released on 29 March 2019, though it was purported to be released on December 6 last year. Tamboli’s petition h sought a stay on release of film as well as withdrawal of trailer (released on vember 19, 2018) until film was reviewed and certified by Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Supreme Court h on 28 March refused to stall release of movie after a plea by Yakud Habeebuddin Tucy was rejected.

Tamboli claimed in his petition that if film was released, it would create unrest and disrupt communal harmony in country. Following release of trailer, Rizvi claimed of receiving a threatening phone call from Abdul Men demanding a halt to film's release.

Pre-release fatwas against movie
Earlier in March before movie's release, a body of clerics in Mhya Presh h issued two 'fatwas' asking Muslims to avoid watching film Ram Janmabhoomi. Ar fatwa was issued against film's actor Nazneen Patni, vising her to "revive her belief in light of Shariat." All India Ulama Board (AIUB) demanded central and MP governments to prevent film's release, alleging it was "an instrument to create hatred between two communities of society."
It said film is being released to vitiate atmosphere at a time when efforts are being me to resolve Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute in Ayodhya through mediation. One of fatwas appealed to Muslims to avoid watching TV shows and movies that spre obscenity, communalism and portray Islam in poor light, and also films like Ram Janmabhoomi.

movie has been directed by Suj Mishra. Actors like Maj Joshi, Govind Namdev, Nazmeen Patni, Rajveer Singh, Trisha Sachdeva and itya are key characters in movie.

SC allows written petition from Muslim parties
On or hand, Supreme Court on Monday allowed Muslim parties, including UP Sunni Wakf Board, to file ir written te in deces-old Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute case, in which y have submitted that verdict will have "consequences" for future polity of country.
" Muslim party contestants before this Hon'ble Court wish to state that decision by this Hon'ble Court, whichever way it goes, will impact future generations. It will also have consequences for polity of this country," te prepared by senior lawyer Rajeev Dhavan, appearing for Muslim parties, said.
