PM announces ex-gratia to victims of Haryana & Raj road accidents
PM Modi announced ex gratia of Rs 2 lakh for the deceased and compensation of Rs.50,000 to the families of the injured after accidents in Rajasthan and Haryana

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday anunced ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh for deceased and a compensation of Rs.50,000 to families of injured following accidents in Haryana's Jind and Rajasthan's Jodhpur and Ajmer respectively.
Prime Minister's office tweeted, "A few days ago, Prime Minister has approved financial assistance of Rs. 2 lakh to families of those killed in a ro accident in Ajmer, Rajasthan. Along with this, Rs. 50,000 will be given for treatment of those injured in accident."

Ro accidents in Rajasthan and Haryana
Almost a dozen people including seven men, five women and a child lost ir lives in a ro accident in Jodhpur-Jaisalmer highway on September 27. A similar accident in Haryana took place on September 24 where an oil tanker ran over an auto and almost 10 people lost ir lives. While in Ajmer, eight people died and 20 ors got injured after a bus rammed into a truck.

Taking to Twitter, PMO also anunced ex-gratia of Rs. 2 Lakh to bereaved families and Rs. 50,000 for injured.

Analytical data reveals every hour 17 people die due to ro accidents in India
As per government data, almost 1.5 Lakh people lost ir lives in ro accidents in 2017, which means every hour 17 people died due to a ro accident. According to a news report, more than 48,746 two-wheeler users died in ro mishaps, of which 73.8 percent of m did t wear a helmet. This means that every hour, four two-wheeler users died in a ro accident, who did t wear a helmet.
