PM CARES Fund Online Donation step-by-step guide: Contribute to India's Coronavirus Fight

Here is a step-by-step guide to making a contribution/donation to the PM CARES fund for India's fight against the Coronavirus, via the online payment method

With India battling Coronavirus pandemic which has ensnared globe in a vice-like grip, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set up a charitable trust where citizens, corporates, organisations and just about anyone else can contribute funds towards relief effort.

fund is called Prime Minister's Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund, and is being called PM CARES. PM is Chairman of this trust, with Defence Minister, Finance Minister and Home Minister or members.

re are a number of ways to donate to fund, one of which is via a bank transfer, and donations will be exempted from income tax under section 80(G). As per PM Modi, fund will also cater to or distressing situations, if y occur in times ahead. 

While bank transfer method and details have been listed by Prime Minister in above tweet, below is a step-by-step guide to making a contribution to PM CARES fund via online payment method.

Making a donation to PM CARES Fund via Online Donation method:

Step 1: Visit pmindia.gov.in

Step 2: Click on 'Click Here For Donation Details'

Step 3: Eir use QR code generated, or click on 'Click Here For Online Donation'

Step 4: Check box and 'proceed'

Step 5: Select 'Donation' in payment category drop-down. form appears, and needs to be filled. Click Submit once filled

Step 6: Confirm your details in Confirmation screen

Step 7: A list of payment options appears. Pick one that's suitable to you and 'Click Here' at relevant option

Step 8: Complete your payment. You will be redirected to invoice p after you are done
