Srinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Addressed at Rally in Srinagar's Sher-e-kashmir Stadium on Thursday, in the wake ongoing polls in Jammu and Kashmir, where he took a dig at the opposition parties in the state and hailed the democratic progress in the state after abrogation of article 370 and 35A. 

'The three families here have crushed 'Jamhooriat' (democracy) and 'Kashmiriat'. They considered the politics of Jammu and Kashmir as their property.', said PM Modi while attacking the other political parties.

As per the schedule of assembly elections in J&K, polls in the state will be held in 3 phases. While the first phase will be held on Sept 18, the second and third phases will take place on Sept 25 and October 1 respectively.  The counting of votes and results will be declared on October 4.
