PM Modi and Japan counterpart Shinzo Abe likely to hold talks in Guwahati & Imphal
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Japanese PM Shinzo Abe are likely to visit Guwahati and Imphal during the Indo-Japan Annual Summit on December 15 and 16

Guwahati and Manipuri's Imphal are being decked up as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Japanese counterpart Shinzō Abe are all set to land in rast for Indo-Japan Annual Summit. summit is scheduled for December 15 and 16.
Ahe of summit, security has been beefed up at all places that are likely to be visited by Indian and Japanese Prime Ministers.

According to top sources who have first-hand information about summit, meeting between two leers will take place at Old Deputy Commissioner's Residence, which was converted into a herit building a few years ago. During Japanese Prime Minister's visit to India, both leers are also likely to dress a joint press briefing.

PM Modi and Abe will also enjoy a boat ride at Brahmaputra river and may also fly on a seaplane over mighty river. PM Modi and Japanese PM are also likely to visit Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati.

'Gateway of Souast Asia' decorated with lights
On December 16, both Prime Ministers will land in Imphal and visit newly opened Peace Museum. Later, two leers are expected to visit Japanese War Memorial in Moirang, where, along with Japanese soldiers, Indian National Army soldiers under leership of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, laid down ir lives fighting British during World War II.
According to sources, both leers will also sign important pacts. Recently, top officials of Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Home Affairs visited Guwahati and Imphal and have issued a clearance. Security ncies are alrey on job to provide full proof security to both leers.

It may also be ted that entire sourn bank of Brahmaputra is being cleaned and decked up to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Decorative lights have been put across city to give leers a warm feel of city, which happens to be 'Gateway to Souast Asia'.
