PM Modi and other ministers condole the Godavari boat capsize victims
PM Modi along with other ministers have paid their condolences to the families affected in the boat capsized in the Godavari, the rescue operation is underway.

In a shocking incident in Godavari district of Andhra Presh, State Disaster Manment Authority (SDMA) informed that 11 people lost ir lives when a tourist boat ferrying 61 persons on board capsized in river. Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has anunced Rs 10 lakh ex-gratia for bereaved families and asked for a complete report on incident. All boating services in region have been suspended.
PM Modi offers condolences
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday condoled demise of 11 people who died after a boat capsized in Godavari River near Devipatnam in Andhra Presh.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also expressed her condolences at loss of lives in Godavari boat trdy in Andhra Presh."Sdened at loss of lives in Godavari boat trdy in Andhra Presh. My condolences to families of deceased. My prayers that missing passengers are rescued," she tweeted.

CM Jagan Mohan Reddy's quick action
According to an official statement, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has directed National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Navy and ONGC helicopters to carry out rescue operations on a war-footing. He has also ordered ministers in district to supervise rescue works. District officials have been directed to suspend all boating services in region immediately and check for license of boats. Chief Minister has also asked for a complete report on incident.
