New Delhi: International day of Yoga is celebrated on 21 June worldwide. Ahead of the International Day of Yoga Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked citizens to reiterate their commitment to making yoga an integral part of their lives. And to continue practicing yoga regularly in their daily lives. PM Modi announced the release of a series of videos demonstrating various Asanas and their benefits. 

PM Modi posted on X before International Yoga Day, saying, "In 10 days, the world celebrates the 10th International Yoga Day, embracing a timeless practice of unity and peace."

Modi said, "As we approach this year's Yoga Day, it is essential to reiterate our commitment to making Yoga an integral part of our lives and also encouraging others to make it a part of theirs." "Yoga offers a sanctuary of calm, enabling us to navigate life's challenges with calm and fortitude," the prime minister said and also shared a set of videos showing various forms of yoga and their benefits. 

On June 21, 2024, we will celebrate the 9th International Day of Yoga.
