PM Modi assures 'brothers & sisters' of Assam: You've nothing to worry over CAB
On Wednesday, PM Modi tweeted a message of assurance on the Assam unrest, saying that 'Assam has nothing to worry about after the passing of the CAB.'

Amidst rising unrest in Assam on Citizenship Amendment Bill, PM Modi tweeted a mess of assurance saying that 'Assam has thing to worry after passing of CAB.'
A wide range of protests broke out in rth-Eastern states against implementation of Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) last week. Around 10 companies of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have been moved to Assam to deal with unrest.

PM Modi in his tweet reached out to his 'brors and sisters' in Assam promising m that thing and one would hamper Assam's culture and identity.
Earlier, former CM of Assam Tarun Gogoi h stated that CAB was 'dangerous' for Assam and would versely affect culture, herit and population structure of rth-East. Assam government on Wednesday h decided to suspend all internet services in ten districts of Assam for 24 hours in wake of rising protests in state. With increasing unrest in Assam and or rastern states, Indian Railways have cancelled 12 trains in state due to 'Rail Roko Andolan'.

Rajya Sabha passes CAB
On Wednesday, Rajya Sabha passed Citizenship Amendment Bill, 2019 (CAB) by a majority of 125-105 votes. This comes after more than 40 MPs including P Chidambaram, Kapil Sibal, Ghulam Nabi Az, Derek O'Brien, Sanjay Singh, Sanjay Raut, and Vaiko put forth ir arguments eir in favour or against CAB. Earlier on Monday, Lower House of Parliament cleared legislation with a landslide margin. Once President gives his assent to Bill, it will immediately come into operation.
