'Batenge To Baatne Waale Mehfil Sajayenge': PM Modi Backs Yogi's Remark Against Congress
PM Modi has supported 'batenge to katenge' remark made by UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath as he attacked Congress' caste divide in the country.
Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched an all out attack at the Congress targeting over its caste divide in the country and alerted people to remain united to bust the agenda of the Opposition who wants to divide the country.
"They ( Congress ) think that if we all unite, then their agenda to divide the country will fail," Modi said, addressing a rally in Washim district of Maharashtra after launching various projects.
'" Congress only knows how to loot the poor and keep them poor for its selfish politics. It only knows how to divide people. We have to be alert and remain united. Congress is run by a gang of urban Naxals," he alleged.
Everyone can see how closely Congress stands with those people who do not harbour good intentions for India, Modi said.
PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various projects worth over Rs 32,800 crores in Thane. Maharahstra CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy CMs Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar were also present.
PM inaugurated the BKC to Aarey JVLR section of Mumbai Metro Line - 3 worth around Rs 14,120 crores.
Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone of Thane Integral Ring Metro Rail Project to be constructed at the cost of around Rs 12,200 crores.
Addressing a massive gathering, PM Modi said, “...Our govt has brought a bill on the illegal encroachment by the Waqf board, but for the politics of appeasement, the newer 'disciples' of Congress are committing a sin of opposing that. Even when the people of Congress say wrong things about Veer Savarkar, the 'disciples' of Congress keep standing behind them, Congress is saying that they will restore Article 370 but their 'disciples' are quiet about it. Such degradation of ideology for the sake of a new vote bank?...”
" Congress is the most dishonest and corrupt party of India... In the last week, the name of one CM of Congress came into a land scam. Their one minister abusing women, disrespecting them. Congress leader caught with drugs in Haryana ... In Himachal Pradesh , the Congress has crossed all the limits, they have brought a new tax there - toilet tax. On one side Modi is talking about building toilets, on the other side they are imposing tax on toilets," the Prime Minister said.
"Today, every citizen has a single goal - Viksit Bharat. That's why every decision, resolution, and dream of our govt is dedicated to Viksit Bharat. To achieve this goal, we need to make cities like Mumbai and Thane - future-ready. But, for this, we have to do double-labour - 'kyunki hamein vikaas bhi karna hai aur Congress sarkaar ke gaddhon ko bhi bharna hai'," he added.
