PM Modi birthday celebrations flagged off by BJP's 'Seva Saptah'
For PM Modi's birthday, the BJP started a ‘Seva Saptah’ campaign on Friday, September 14, launched by party leader Amit Shah, who also took part in the events

Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched its ‘Seva Saptah’ (service week) on Friday, September 14 for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17. BJP President Amit Shah with working President JP Nadda and leaders Vijay Goel and Vijender Gupta swept floor in AIIMS as part of party’s week-long ‘Seva Saptah’ campaign. Amit Shah and JP Nadda also met children admitted in AIIMS and gifted m fruits as a part of campaign.
PM has dedicated his entire life to serve nation: Amit Shah
Amit Shah said that BJP workers across country will begin celebrating 'Seva Saptah' today. He added that PM has dedicated his entire life to serve nation & worked for poor. So, it is appropriate that we celebrate his birthday week as 'Seva Saptah'. BJP Uttar Pradesh President Swatantra Dev Singh with state Ministers, Ashok Katariya and Ranvendra Pratap Singh also swept a street as part of party's campaign.

A couple of days ago, while divulging details about 'Seva Saptah', BJP National Secretary Arun Singh said, "Modi government is dedicated to poor people of country. Ever since Narendra Modi Ji has taken charge as Prime Minister, he has dedicated his life to poor of nation."
“Many of Modi government schemes like Ujjwala Yojna, PM Awas Yojna, Aayushman Yojna, and many ors are successful schemes that have benefitted poor. Modi government is dedicated to poor, as PM Modi himself comes from a poor background, he understands problems and difficulties faced by poor in country,” he added.

'Seva Saptah' plans
During this long-week, various health check-up plans -- blood donation, eye check-up and operation camps -- will also be organised by party workers for needy people all over country. During ‘Seva Saptah’ party workers will also promote PM Modi's anti-plastic drive, Swachata Abhiyan and his save water initiative. During Seva Saptah, all BJP MLAs and MPs will be visiting various schools to promote shunning use of single-use plastic under PM Modi's anti-plastic drive.
