Kamal Haasan 'in solidarity' with PM Modi's Janta Curfew, tags Kollywood bigwigs to join

Kamal Haasan said he was 'in solidarity' with PM Modi's Janta Curfew idea to fight coronavirus/COVID-19. He tagged Kollywood bigwigs to join in the initiative.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking numerous steps to assure citizens of country amid coronavirus/COVID-19 scare. After taking le by dressing leers of  SAARC nations, PM dressed citizens to calm m down in period of uncertainty. A highlight of his speech urging all citizens to follow ‘Janta Curfew’, asking citizens to remain at home from 7AM to 9PM on Sunday, unless any important work.

t just those from political fraternity, even celebrities from film industry gave initiative a thumbs up. A name belonging to both fraternities, Kamal Haasan, also supported Prime Minister’s idea.  

actor-politician took to Twitter to state that he stood in ‘full solidarity’ with PM’s call for ‘janta curfew.’ Indian 2 star ded that it was important to take ‘extraordinary measures’ during ‘extraordinary situation.’

Haasan urged his fans, friends and followers to support cause, also tagging major names of Tamil film industry, like Rajinikanth, Ajith, Vijay, Suriya, Vikram, Dhanush, Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Illayaraja, Anirudh Ravichander, GV Prakash, Ghibran and Devi Sri Pras.
