PM Modi lauds Tata Group, Reliance Foundation for cleanliness drives
PM Modi lauded the cleanliness drive launched by Reliance Foundation & Tata Group highlighting the initiatives undertaken by them in various parts of the nation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday lauded cleanliness drive launched by Reliance Industries' philanthropy arm Reliance Foundation and Tata Group, as his 'Clean India' mission finds acceptance from common people to high and mighty of corporate India.
PM Modi retweets
PM Modi retweeted tweets by Reliance Foundation and Tata Group highlighting cleanliness work undertaken by m in various parts of country. "Heartening to see people coming toger for cleanliness across urban and rural India," he wrote re-tweeting a tweet of Reliance Foundation. Prime Minister also retweeted a Tata Group tweet. PM Modi, on being elected Prime Minister for first time in 2014, h launched Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to promote cleanliness in country which just t aims to attract tourists but also improve health, safety, and dignity of hundreds of millions of Indians.

Last week, PM Modi was conferred with 'Global Goalkeeper Award' for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in New York. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, or Clean India Mission, was launched by PM Modi on Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary on October 2, 2014. Reliance Foundation, heed by Mukesh Ambani's wife Nita Ambani, is one of largest private foundations in country.

Community members participate in 'Swachhata Hi Seva'
"Various community members, including sarpanch, participated in #SwachhataHiSeva campaign by #RF in Jaipur Rural, #Rajasthan. y cleaned surroundings and also motivated or villrs to do same. #RFForSwachhBharat #SHS2019 @swachhbharat," Reliance Foundation said in a tweet, which was retweeted by PM Modi. PM also retweeted Tata Group's tweet stating, "A step towards changing game; a step towards a better future" with a video on cleanliness.
