PM Modi meets his Bangladeshi counterpart on the sidelines of UNGA

Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded his week-long USA visit with a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister of Banglesh Sheikh Hasina after he dressed 74th Session of United Nations General Assembly on Friday. In meeting, both leers discussed various local and global issues and in ir first meeting since ir re-election, Prime Minister Modi thanked PM Sheikh Hasina for attending special commemorative event organized by India to mark 150th anniversary of birth of Mahatma Gandhi.
Excellent state of bilateral relations

PM of Banglesh extended an invitation to PM Modi to visit Banglesh and suggested that it could be undertaken also in connection with birth centenary of Bangabandhu. invitation was accepted by Prime Minister Shri Modi, who also reiterated India’s offer to work closely with Banglesh to mark this important historical milestone.
