Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his mor Heeraben Modi in Gandhinagar on Saturday as she celebrated her 100th birthday. PM arrived at his mor's residence early in morning and sought her blessings.
In photos shared on Twitter, PM Modi was seen sitting on floor next to his mor and performing pooja with her. PM Modi orned Hiraba with a garland of roses and a shawl. He n washed his mor's feet, performed aarti, and gave her pras.

PM Modi's mor Heeraben Modi turns 100
Born on June 18, 1923, Hiraba entered 100th year of her life today. She lives in Gandhinagar with her younger son Pankaj Modi. On occasion of her 100th birthday, Modi family has organized a 'bhandaro' (community meal) at Jagannath temple in Ahmedab.
In Vnagar, which is hometown of Hiraba, Hatkeshwar Mahev Temple has organized various religious programmes for long life and health of prime minister's mor. programmes will include a Bhajan Sandhya, Shiv Arhna and Sundarkand Path.

Recently, Gandhinagar Mayor Hitesh Makwana h announced that a ro is being named after Prime Minister's mor in city. An 80-meter long ro from Raysan petrol pump will be named 'Pujya Hiraba Marg' to keep Hiraba's name alive forever and for future generations to learn lessons of service, he said.
PM Modi who is on a day's visit to Gujarat is scheduled to visit Pavagh temple and later dress a rally in Vodara today. At 9:15 AM, PM will visit and inaugurate redeveloped temple of Shree Kalika Mata at Pavagh Hill. Later at 11:30 AM, he is scheduled to visit Virasat Van. At 12:30 PM PM will participate in Gujarat Gaurav Abhiyan at Vodara, where he will inaugurate and lay foundation stone of projects worth over Rs 21,000 crores.
