PM Modi meets Pranab Mukherjee ahead of second term, reserves high praise for former President's knowledge and insights

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met with former President of India Pranab Mukherjee, two days ahead of being sworn-in once again for his second term.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met with former President of India Pranab Mukherjee, two days ahe of being sworn-in once again for his second term.

Taking to Twitter, Prime Minister posted photos including one where former President and union minister is feeding him what is most certainly a sweet with his own hand.

In his tweet Prime Minister also posted about how meeting Pranab Mukherjee is always an enriching experience.:

"His kwledge and insights are unparalleled. He is a statesman who has me an indelible contribution to our nation."

PM Modi and former President Pranab Mukherjee have always talked about sharing a warm relationship, with former crediting latter for help and counsel when he h first moved to New Delhi after assuming Prime Minister's post, and Modi government also just a few months earlier bestowing Bharat Ratna on senior Congress leer.

PM Modi has met a number of senior statesmen of Indian politics since election results on May 23. On day after results, he h met with BJP veterans LK vani and Murli Mahar Joshi.

He h met President Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhawan when he went to stake his claim to form a government following NDA parliamentary party unanimously declaring him ir Prime Ministerial candidate:

Narendra Modi is all set to take oath as Prime Minister again on May 30, with thousands of dignitaries, including hes of BIMSTEC states set to attend.
