PM Modi meets veteran world leaders including Kissinger and Tony Blair

PM Modi met the veteran world leaders and global statesmen, Tony Blair, John Howard, Henry Kissinger, Condoleezza Rice & Robert Gates at New Delhi on Tuesday.

PM Modi met the veteran world leaders and global statesmen, Tony Blair, John Howard, Henry Kissinger, Condoleezza Rice, and Robert Gates at New Delhi on Tuesday, October 22. They were visiting India as a part of the International Council for the first time after 2007. PM Modi also shared the moments of his meeting with the leaders on Twitter and informed that he had a fruitful discussion with the leaders on issues relating to education, health, and economy.

PM Modi's personal moments with the leaders 

PM Modi upon meeting the PMs also shared a few moments with them. Former PM of Britain and PM of Australia, Tony Blair, and John Howard, US Secretaries of State Henry Kissinger and Condoleezza Rice along with former Secretary of Defence Robert Gates were seen sharing quality time with PM Modi after the conclusion of the JP Morgan International Council meeting. PM Modi tweeted the pictures via his personal handle.

Discussions in the International Council meeting 

PM Modi during the meeting with the leaders discussed his vision for making India a USD 5 trillion economy by 2024. PM Modi also reiterated the priorities of the government in the country, it includes the development of world-class physical infrastructure and improvements in affordable healthcare and providing quality education in the country. Talking about foreign policy he said that India is continuing to work together with its strategic partners and close neighbours to build a fair and equitable multipolar world order. He also reiterated that people’s participation continues to be the guiding principle for the government to form public policy in the country.
