Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. Prime Minister of India greeted President Ram Nath Kovind on his birthday and also presented him with a floral bouquet. PM Modi also shared a picture of ir meeting on his Twitter handle.

PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday morning tweeted wishing President Ram Nath Kovind on his birthday. He lauded President Kovind for his insights and understanding of policy matters. PM Modi also spoke about his passion for working for poor and downtrodden.

President Kovind in Jharkhand
A day before his birthday, President Ram Nath Kovind addressed 33rd convocation of Ranchi University. At convocation, Ram Nath Kovind said that Jharkhand possesses t only 40% of country's minerals but also has substantial human resources.

Mess on Harmony with Nature
During convocation at Ranchi University, President Ram Nath Kovind emphasised on learning from tribals on how to live in harmony with nature. Praising developmental and social welfare programmes of central and state governments, President said that it was from Jharkhand that world's biggest health insurance scheme, Ayushman Bharat, was launched. Pension schemes for farmers and traders were also launched from here, he said. President called upon students to learn from life of Mahatma Gandhi and do social service on 150thbirth anniversary of Far of Nation.
