As day 4 of rescue operations are underway to save 2-year old Sujith Wilson for 600-feet borewell he fell into, PM Narendra Modi, on Monday, shared his prayers for child's safe rescue. He also tweeted that he h been briefed about rescue operations by Tamil Nu Chief Minister E. Palaniswamy. He assured that all efforts were being to ensure safety of child.

What happened to 2-year old Sujith Wilson?
On Friday evening, 2-year-old Sujith Wilson who was playing near his home at Nukattupetti vill in Trichy district fell into a 600 feet unused bore well. Initially, he was stuck at a depth of 26 feet, but later on, Saturday fell to a depth of 88 feet. Rescue operations commenced 30 minutes after child fell into borewell and is still underway.

Rescue operations underway
According to latest updates, rigging machines have been digging a parallel path to borewell in which child is stuck, to reach him. On Sunday, due to hard, solid rock sediments, digging process was slowed down reaching only 20 feet. bles of machine too were damd while digging. Initially, when rescue ops h commenced, child slipped deeper due to vibration produced by earth-movers and slippery walls of empty bore well.
After trying or methods to access child, authorities have currently installed a 1,200 horsepower borewell drilling machine to break rocks into pieces, creating a path measuring 1 meter in diameter. Fire and rescue teams aim to reach bottom of 98 feet and will n dig a horizontal path to reach actual bore well where toddler is stuck. Commissioner for revenue and ministration Rhakrishnan - top official in charge of whole mission has said, "It will take around 12 hours to reach destined level in current rate and its subject to change according to rock structures."

Tamil Nu Deputy CM O Pannerselvam has visited site and CM himself has been briefed about it. Several teams of NDRF, police, fire and rescue teams are on-site monitoring day four of operations - 65 hours since Sujith Wilson fell. Many celebrities, politicians have voiced ir concern for child's safety as India prays for his safe rescue.
