Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, November 12, extended his greetings on the 550th 'Prakash Parv' of Guru Nanak Dev Ji on Twitter. The PM remembered the Sikh faith founder and said we must do justice to Guru Nanak Dev Ji's teachings for a just, inclusive and harmonious society.

PM Modi remembers Gurunanak Dev Ji at Kartarpur
PM Modi also remembered the teachings of Gurunanak Dev Ji during the opening ceremony of the Kartarpur Corridor on November 9.
"The energy of Guruvani from Kartarpur will give blessings not only to our Sikh brothers but also to every Indian. Kartarpur is not only the ‘karma bhumi’ of Guru Nanak Devji, but his voice and the smell of sweat of Guru Nanak Devji is found in every particle of Kartapur," the Prime Minister said.

Earlier, during his 58th 'Mann Ki Baat' radio address to the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi briefly spoke about the 550th Prakash Purab celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
"November 12 is the day, when, the whole world will celebrate the 550th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Today not only India but the whole world is witnessing the impact of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. There are many Sikh brothers and sisters across the world who are completely dedicated to the teachings and beliefs of Guru Nanak," he said.

November 12th is the 550th Prakash Parv of the founder of Sikhism Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, born on Kartik Purnima, is celebrated as Guru Parva or Prakashotsav.
