PM Narendra Modi, who recently came back from the US, took to Twitter to remind people to tune into his ‘Mann ki Baat’ programme on September 29, 2019.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to remind people to tune into his ‘Mann ki Baat’ programme on September 29. show is to be broadcasted at 11:00 am in morning. PM usually addresses nation every month on All India Radio. aim of programme is to deliver voice of PM to general masses of country. Launched on October 3, 2014, Mann ki Baat is first of its kind where PM of country speaks to citizens of India.

PM took to Twitter to ask people of country to share ir ideas and suggestions for Nation. se ideas or inputs can be featured on monthly programme initiated by PM. PM in past has addressed several issues pertaining to nation before. He has used opportunity to speak to people of India on topics like Swachh Bharat, Fit India and women empowerment. PM Modi through his address on radio aims to connect with common man furr engaging him to state his grievances so that subsequent actions can be taken. This initiative encours a participatory form of governance which is interactive in nature.

Previous Mann ki Baat session
In previous session of 'Mann ki Baat,' Prime Minister urged people to participate in annual 'Swachhata Hi Seva' campaign. He informed citizens of country that annual cleanliness drive will begin in September. He stated that along with being open defecation free, India should w progress towards being a plastic-free nation. PM added that most world leaders he met during his explorations as Prime Minister wanted to discuss Yoga with him. PM Modi gave credit to this level of awareness on Yoga to 'International Yoga Day', an event recognised by United Nations under PM Modi's governance.
