PM Modi replies to Dalio, says, 'People across regions blessed us'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, November 8, replied to US Billionaire and influential global investor Ray Dalio's tweet and stated that "The mandate people blessed our team had been unseen for decades." He further stated that "A cross-section of people, across regions, religions, languages, age groups and occupations have blessed us." Dalio, on Friday, November 8, praised PM Modi on Twitter and stated that "PM Modi has a good chance of creating revolutionarily better outcomes with the broad support of the population."

PM Modi's second-time win

Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again stunned his detractors with a historic victory in the 2019 General Lok Sabha elections. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 303 seats, further increasing its substantial majority and the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance won 353 seats. On the other hand, the Indian National Congress (INC) won 52 seats, and the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance won 91. Other parties and their alliances won 98 seats.

Dalio expresses his opinion on PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi who delivered the keynote address at Saudi Arabia's flagship annual investor meeting recently has been lauded as "one of the best" leaders in the world by Dalio on Thursday, November 7. Taking to microblogging site Twitter, Dalio expressed his views on meeting PM Modi. The American billionaire investor also posted a video of his sit-down discussion with PM Modi.
