PM Modi Says Focused On Development For All Despite Opposition's Mocking and Insult
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the opposition has been making fun of him but he remained focused to complete government's first 100-days agenda.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that the Opposition has been making fun of him but he remained focus to complete the agenda of first 100-days of his government in the third term. The Prime Minister said he has not seen day and night in the last 100 days and putting all his efforts to complete the 100-day agenda.
“You must have seen in the last 100 days, what all sorts of talks were happening, they made fun of me… through various comparisons… people were also surprised… why Modi is keeping quiet, he’s being made a subject of fun… but people, I’m a son born on the land of Sardar Patel, I have been facing it all only to fulfil the agenda of my 100 days… And I have decided that I won’t be replying to them… I am happy that in these 100 days, welfare for all has been guaranteed,” PM Modi said.
“During the Lok Sabha elections, I guaranteed the countrymen that unprecedented decisions would be taken in the first 100 days of my third term. In the last 100 days, I spared no effort to fulfil the agenda of 100 days. I left no stone unturned in India and abroad. You people have sent me to Delhi by making me take a pledge to put the nation first. I have not seen day and night in the last 100 days. Put in all efforts to complete the 100-day agenda. Be it in the country or abroad, whatever efforts were to be made, they were made; no stone was left unturned. During these 100 days, work has commenced on projects worth Rs 15 lakh crore. I promised during the elections to construct 3 crore new houses, and we are making rapid progress on this. Whether it's in villages or cities, we are focused on improving people's lives.”
"In the last 100 days, dozens of projects related to rail, road, port, airport and metro have been approved. Here in Gujarat too, the foundation stone of many projects related to connectivity has been laid or inaugurated today. Today is a special day for Gujarat for another reason. From today, Namo Bharat Rapid Rail has started running between Ahmedabad and Bhuj. Namo Bharat Rapid Rail is going to provide a lot of convenience to our middle-class families who travel from one city to another in the country every day. It will immensely benefit students, professionals and businessmen. In the future, Namo Bharat Rapid Rail will connect many cities in the country. The speed with which the network of Vande Bharat trains has been expanded in these 100 days is unprecedented. During this period, new Vande Bharat trains have been started on more than 15 new routes in the country. This means that in the last 15 weeks, 15 new Vande Bharat trains have been started, one every week," the Prime Minister added.
“This is a golden period for the country. In the next 25 years, we need to make India developed. In this goal, Gujarat is going to play a crucial role. Gujarat , today, is becoming a huge hub of manufacturing. It's one of the most well-connected states in the country. The day isn't far when Gujarat will gift the first Made in India transport aircraft C295....,” he added.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi further said, “When trust in India increases, our exports increase and more investment comes into the country. When trust in India increases, foreign investors invest their money in India. They invest in factories. On one hand, every citizen of the country wants to become India's brand ambassador in the whole world and is engaged in taking his country forward."
"On the other hand in the same country, some people full of negativity are doing the opposite. These people are attacking the unity of the country. These greedy people hungry for power want to break India into pieces. These people are saying together that they will bring back Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir or that they want to implement the rule of two constitutions and two laws in Jammu and Kashmir again. People full of negativity do not leave any opportunity to defame India, that is why these people are continuously targeting Gujarat also. Therefore, Gujarat has to be cautious of them. It also has to keep an eye on them. India which is on the path of development will fight such forces strongly. India has no time to waste now, we have to increase the development of India and also give a life of dignity to every Indian. I know that Gujarat is leading in this too...," the Prime Minister said.
