At 44th Chess Olympi opening ceremony, Viswanathan Anand handed torch to PM Modi and MK Stalin, who inaugurated 44th Chess Olympi in Chennai.

PM Modi on Friday will attend 42nd convocation of Anna University and will n travel to Gandhinagar to visit GIFT City (Gujarat International Finance Tec-City), where he will launch and lay foundation stone of various projects, according to Prime Minister’s Office.
Later, ting that GIFT City (Gujarat International Finance Tec-City) in Gandhinagar was envisd as an integrated hub for financial and techlogy services t just for India but for world, a statement by Prime Minister's Office said that PM Modi will lay foundation stone of hequarters building of International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA), unified regulator for development and regulation of financial products, financial services, and financial institutions in International Financial Services Centres (IFSCs) in India.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch India International Bullion Exchange (IIBX) at Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) as well as lay foundation stone of unified regulator International Financial Services Centres Authority’s hequarters building.
IIBX will facilitate efficient price discovery with assurance of responsible sourcing and quality, apart from giving impetus to financialisation of gold in India
“This shall empower India to gain its rightful place in global bullion market and serve global value chain with integrity and quality. This also re-enforces commitment of Government of India towards enabling India to be able to influence global bullion prices as a principal consumer,” statement re.
