Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday has appealed people to share surplus sweets and goods with the deprived sections of the society this festive season. He addressed the nation in his third Mann Ki Baat episode of the second edition on Sunday and said that more and more Indians could truly celebrate this festive season if we all help the deprived section of the society.
"On one hand, when we experience the 'Delivery In' of sweets and gifts, let us think for a moment on the process of 'Delivery Out'. At least in our home, we are sufficiently stuffed with things which are not required and could be allocated for 'Delivery Out'," PM Modi said as he addressed the nation.

"My dear countrymen, with the beginning of Navaratri today, the air is bound to be full of new hopes, new energy and newer zest. During festivals, families come together, homes are filled with laughter and joy, but you must realise that there are many people around us who remain deprived of these celebrations," the Prime Minister said.
