PM Modi - Xi talks to focus on people's contact, border tranquillity

Sources have reported that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold one-to-one delegation-level talks with the President of China Xi Jinping from October 11-12.

Sources have reported that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold one-to-one delegation-level talks with President of China Xi Jinping. Chinese President is all set to visit India between October 11 - 12 for second informal summit with PM  Modi. In an official statement released by Ministry of External Affairs, it is stated that forthcoming Chennai Informal Summit "will provide an opportunity for two leers to continue ir discussions on overarching issues of bilateral, regional and global importance". two world leers will exchange views on deepening India-China Closer Development Partnership. Chinese President is visiting India for second informal summit at invitation of PM Modi.

China flips its stance on Kashmir 

Days before important Modi-Xi Jinping meeting in Chennai, China on Tuesday, has once again flipped its stance on Kashmir, calling it a bilateral issue between India and Pakistan. This statement was me in a press briefing as Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is currently visiting China. When asked about connection between Pak-China meeting and Indo-China meet, China maintained its diplomacy. It stated that bilateral issue must be resolved as per common interests of both nations.
